ADOPTING A HORSE

Submitting an Application

If you are an experienced horse person and are interested in one of our horses you may submit an application to adopt one of our horses On-Line. This application does not commit you to adopting a horse, it only allows us to check your references for adoption. Applicants must be approved before visiting our facilities. You may also print off the form below to email to gail@beyondtherosesequine.org or mail by snail mail to: BTRE, 11621 Bryce Road, Emmett, MI 48022

Once you have sent in your application, please contact your references to let them know we may notifying them. You will be notified when you are approved/disapproved by phone or email. Arrangements may then be to make an appointment to see the horses.

Adoption fees are based on age of the horse and limitations. Fees range from as low as $500 to $2,500 depending on their abilities. In some cases the fees may be waived. Adoption fees can be paid by Paypal, cash or check.

If the horse is unsuitable, adopters have a 30 day trial period to return the horse for good reason for a full refund. Adopters must report a Status Update to BTRE during the 3rd, 6th and 12th month after adoption to let us know the progress of the horse.

If at any time the owner wishes to sell the horse, BTRE must be notified and the prospective Buyer must sign a Second Sale Form agreeing to follow the previous Adoption Agreement. Horses may NOT be sold at any Sales or Auctions.
